“More than just another big game” – the manta that the AI 500 has followed since it’s birth in 2013. Since then the AI 500 has grown to become not only a brilliant series of airsoft events, but also a brilliant community; with friends old and new exchanging rounds during game and sharing conversation after. One of the biggest selling points of the AI 500 has always been the ability to run games at never before played on sites, with RAF Kirton and the venue for this years game – Bludeston Prison.
With a wealth of experience behind the AI 500 staff, games have been held as far south as the MOD’s Rype Village and as far north as First & Only’s Camp Anzio, with a range of other venues in between. You need only check the AI 500 back catelogue to see the variety of sites used in the past.
But what is the AI 500? First and foremost it’s a weekend of airsoft. Never has the AI 500 been sold as a Mil-sim event, however nor is it your average Sunday skirmish. Instead it finds itself somewhere in between with a solid story line and objectives throughout the day, yet with the onus on a good weekends worth of shooting your buddies.
The AI 500 provides the perfect platform for some brilliant airsoft, and is definitely not one to miss.
